Everest Platinum is situated 34 km south west of Lydenburg (Route 577) in Mpumalanga. The contract is for the operation and maintenance of Aquarius Platinum’s Everest Platinum concentrator, which commenced operations in October 2005. This operation processes 3.0 million tons of ROM material a year and has a total complement of 129 personnel. Scope of work covers crushing, screening, milling, flotation, thickening, tailings dewatering, product loading, sample preparation and fire assay analysis.

This site falls under the Minopex ISO 9001:2000 multi-site certification and is be run and managed to the same exacting standards of OHSAS 18001. At required maturity will attain its rightful safety accreditation status.
